How did this happen? A New Year... There were things, in 2016, that I planned to do, accomplish, began and finish, before this New Year thing happened. Oops! What to do? Pretend that it didn't happen, now that's a plan, or srart anew.
Let's embrace the next leg of our individual journeys. Imagine the next step and take it. We will not allow fears are the dreaded "P" word to stop us as we embark upon our exciting adventures in 2017 and beyond. Oh you ask, "What is the "P" word?" I will explain in the next, Just Saying Blog. Publish date January 16, 2017.
Life is filled with opportunities, open doors... choices. The keys are in our hands. Decide what is best for you when these opportunities, opendoors, choices are presented. I know that this is not always easy. Easy is overrated. Take the difficult step and see what happens, you may be overjoyed with the outcome. If the result is not to your liking, recall the excitement of new begininings take a deep breath and determine to keep moving forward. Always take the time to listen and ask yourself the hard questions. This is a sign of wisdom. "What do I want?" "What will fill me with joy?" "Where do I want to go from here?"
I am not advocating that you do not seek counsel. However, you should weigh the advice that you receive, keep what feels right and toss the rest. When all is said and done, "Your choices", are yours to make. They, your choices, will lead you to the next phase in your journey .
The Challenge: Listen to your still quiet voice, ponder, explore make plans... and go forward.
